MAT February 2025 | The All-India Management Association (AIMA) administers the national-level entrance exam known as MAT to candidates seeking admission to MBA and PGDM programs in the country. Beginning in 2025, testing will be conducted four times each year. February, March, September and December.
MAT (Management Aptitude Test)
The Management Aptitude Test, or simply MAT is a national-level test that has its inception way back in 1988. It intends to help the Business Schools in India shortlist the candidates for admission to MBA and allied programs. The Ministry of Education, Government of India officially recognized MAT as a national-level test in the year 2003.
For a more concentrated and effective experience for all test-takers, the MAT February 2025 exam comes with a new format, consolidated portions, and a shorter time duration.

Modes of MAT February 2025
Candidates can select from the three modes of testing of MAT:
👉 PBT- Paper Based Test
👉 CBT-Computer Based Test
👉 PBT+ CBT, candidates’ additional amount is applicable with this choice and is equal to ₹ 1500/ -, over the other normal examination which costs around ₹ 2100/ -. Through this test option, a candidate gets to select 7 management institutes out of 5 while sending scores to the institutions.
